Mackenzie Davis, known for her roles in ‘Station Eleven’ and ‘Speak No Evil’, is set to co-star in an untitled limited series created by Jesse McKeown. Filming will occur in Newfoundland, Canada, and the series features Josh Hartnett, who also serves as an executive producer. This six-episode project centers on a fisherman, played by Hartnett, battling to protect his community from the threat posed by a mysterious sea creature. McKeown will act as showrunner and executive producer alongside Jessica Rhoades of Pacesetter UK, with additional executive production by Chris Hatcher, Louise Sutton, Jamie Childs, and Sharon Hall. Directorial duties will be shared by Jamie Childs, Helen Shaver, and Stephen Dunn. The writing team includes industry professionals Karen Walton, Perry Chafe, and Natty Zavitz.
