EXCLUSIVE: Wyncor , which was founded by a
judge on the French Shark Tank, has become the latest global toy firm to enter
the original IP game, hiring TV industry sales vet Erick Rouillé
to lead the push.
In a world of Barbie and Polly Pocket adaptations, Wyncor is coming to market
with its Kwaaks! plush duck toys and has forged a “content roadmap” that
includes short-form animations for YouTube and TikTok, serialized animated
series, and accessible mobile and web-based games.
The firm, which was founded three years ago by Julian Jacob, will then focus on
transforming other toy brands into animated and live-action series, digital
shorts, casual and mobile games, and immersive formats designed for today’s
digitally native generation.
