The ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ franchise is concluding with a new cinematic trilogy, starting with the film ‘Infinity Castle’. A recent trailer marks the series’ fourth film adaptation and the second original storyline film, based on the popular “Infinity Castle” arc. Set for release in Japan on July 18 and in the U.S. and Canada on September 12, including IMAX screenings, this installment is directed by Haruo Sotozaki with production by anime studio Ufotable. The film follows Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they face off against Muzan Kibutsuji in a climactic battle. Building on the massive success of its predecessor, ‘Mugen Train’, expectations are high for this original production. Two new theme songs, ‘A World Where the Sun Never Rises’ by Aimer and ‘Shine in the Cruel Night’ by Lisa, will accompany the film’s premiere on global streaming platforms.
