The hit anime franchise ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ is set to conclude with a three-part cinematic trilogy, beginning with the release of ‘Infinity Castle’. This film, an original non-compilation adaptation of the manga’s ‘Infinity Castle’ arc, follows the fourth season of the anime series. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki with production by Ufotable, the movie releases in Japan on July 18 and will arrive in U.S. and Canada theaters through Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment on September 12, including IMAX formats. Key highlights include the participation of Akira Matsushima as the lead character designer and animation director. The film follows protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps as they prepare for a climactic battle. ‘Infinity Castle’ aims to mirror the success of the franchise’s previous box office hit, ‘Mugen Train’, with high revenue expectations. The soundtrack features songs by Aimer and Lisa, available globally on streaming platforms starting July 18.
